I can’t stop creating low calorie desserts so here I am with another one. I came up with these extremely fluffy, melt in mouth vanilla custard cream donuts. Each fluffy donut, believe it or not, is ONLY 50 CALORIES WITH THE FILLING!
You have to make them once to know how good they turn out.
Ingredients:
Low fat almond milk or low fat/skimmed milk: 5 tbsp
Instant yeast: 1 tbsp
Butter (melted): 2 tbsp
Egg yolk: 1
All purpose flour or wheat flour or oat flour: 1.25 cups(total)
Salt: A pinch
Zero calorie sugar: 3 tbsp + for coating

Tip: Preheat the oven at 100° and turn it off, now leave your dough in it to rise. It will reduce A LOT of waiting time. MAKE SURE to turn off the oven when the dough is in there.
This recipe makes 20 mini donuts.
