Bread pakora are everyone’s favourite.Here I am sharing a non fried version of bread pakora by shallow frying in a pan .This tastes equally good.Try this healthier version of stuffed bread pakora.I have used potatoes stuffing here,you can make plain bread pakora as well with the same procedure.
Healthy bread pakora recipe/Shallow fried stuffed bread pakora
Ingredients
1 cup besan(gram flour )
1tsp salt
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/4tspTurmeric powder
Chopped coriander leaves
Green chilli
1/4 tsp ajwain (carom seeds)
Bread slices-6
Oil-2 tbsp
1/2 cup Potato stuffing
for potato stuffing)
Procedure
In a mixing bowl take gram flour,salt ,chilli powder,chaat masala,turmeric powder,ajwain (crush it between your palms)
And chopped coriander,mix everything together.
Gradually add water to make a pakora batter.
Take a bread slice,add potato stuffing and cover with the another slice.
Press it gently with your palms.
Now heat oil in a pan
Dip this bread into batter and place on heated pan
Let it cook from one side,flip it carefully with a help of a spoon
Shallow fry it till it’s golden brown.
With the help of tong ,hold it and cook from the edges as well.
