Recipe
1 1/2 bread flour, plus extra for shaping
2 teaspoon active dry rise yeast
2 teaspoons sugar
1 1/4 cups water
2 teaspoons salt
Directions
* Add all the ingredients into a stand mixer and mix with a dough hook until the dough is springy and doesn’t tear easily. This will take about 5-10 minutes.
* Spray the inside of a large straight-sided container with the cooking spray. Place the dough ball into the container and set on the rack above the pan of water. Allow to rise until doubled in size, approximately 1 to 2 hours.
* Once the dough has doubled in size, turn it onto a counter top, lightly dust your hands with flour, and press the dough out with your knuckles;
* Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and allow to rest until the oven is pre-heated
* Pre-heat you oven to 400 degrees
* Once the oven is pre-heated place the dough in a pre-prepared sheet pan with either parchment paper or cooking spray
* Spray the top of the dough with more cooking spray for an extra brown crust.
* Bake for 50-60 minutes until the dough is golden brown.
Let cool before slicing. (Or not)
