In this video I share with you my dinner meal idea. I use plate method for planning a healthy meal. To create a well-balanced meal I choose a variety of foods from different food groups (carbohydrates, fruits and vegetables, protein, dairy and healthy fats). Because different foods provide different types and amounts of key nutrients, it is important to choose a variety of foods from within each food group. In addition, choosing a variety of foods will help to make your meals interesting, so that you don’t get bored with your diet.

The other rule I have is to include a variety of different-colored fruits and vegetables in my diet because each color represents a different set of nutrients that benefit different aspect of our health. Therefore, colorful plate is not only more attractive one, but it’s also a healthier one!.

My healthy dinner ideas are not boring or bland at all. By using variety of fresh ingredients and adding different seasoning I make my foods very appetizing. Try this healthy & delicious meal idea and you won’t regret!

Ingredients for the main meal:

• 300 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
• 200 g green beans, sliced in 3 pieces
• 1 yellow onion, finely chopped
• 1 can (400 g) diced tomatoes
• 1/2 cup (120 ml) cooking cream
• 5 cloves garlic, finely minced
• 2 dried red chili pepper, chopped
• 1/2 teaspoon salt (for green beans)
• 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
• 1/2 teaspoon paprika powder
• 1 vegetable bouillon cube
• Himalaya salt (or table salt) to taste
• Freshly cracked black pepper to taste
• 4 tablespoons olive oil

Ingredients for the salad:

• Mixed lettuce (oak leaf, red leaf, Romaine)
• Cherry tomatoes (different colors)
• Orange bell pepper
• Avocado
• Fresh lemon juice
• Salt
