This french toast recipe comes with egg white instead of heavy and calorie dense eggs and milk. Best thing – it tastes exactly the same! And I doo not even use butter to pan fry it. This a good healthy option for a french toast. Egg white soaks in to the challah bread perfectly. I highly recommend using it.
I have to give credit where credit is due: this recipe was inspired by Greg Doucette’s recipe for anabolic french toast. Check out his channel, tons of great things (if you can handle that crazy screaming voice lol)

Ingredients
8 oz challah bread about 6 slices
1 container egg whites 16 oz (454g)
1 tsp cinnamon optional
1 tsp vanilla extract optional
1 tbs monkfruit sweetener (or any other) if you don’t like sweeteners – use sugar

FOR CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER SAUCE
– 1 tbs PB2 – powdered peanut butter. It is much lower in calories and high in protein. I used just one tablespoon
– one teaspoon Cocoa Powder
– Vanilla Carmel flavored syrup – the kind you would use for a frappucino. You can use any flavor you like or not use it at all. I added one tablespoon
– No sugar added pancake syrup – two tablespoons
I added also a splash of vanilla extract – one tsp
All about 50 calories and 4 g protein

STRAWBERRY SAUCE
280 g of frozen strawberries
2 tbs monkfruit sweetener
