INGREDIENTS(makes 8 nos)
FOR FILLING
Onion Chopped -1 big
Potato grated -1 big
Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder -1 tsp
Turmeric powder -¼ tsp
Coriander powder- ½ tsp
Tomato ketchup -1 Tb. Sp
Salt-1 tsp
Egg -1
Salt-1 pinch
Pepper powder -1 pinch
Garam masala powder -½ tsp
Heat a pan, pour oil. Add ginger garlic paste, saute till the raw smell goes. Add onion till it turns light brown.Add chilli, turmeric and coriander powder. Saute well. Add grated potato. Mix well. Now goes salt and tomato ketchup. Cover & Cook for 3 mins in low heat. Add egg, salt, pepper powder and garam masala powder. Mix altogether.. Filling is ready. Keep it aside.
FOR DOUGH
wheat flour -1 cup(200ml)
Salt -½ salt
Oil -1 tb. Sp
Water-
To a bowl, add wheat flour, salt. Add enough water and knead well to make a soft dough. Add oil and again knead for few seconds. Roll the dough. Cut into equal size portions, and make small balls.Flatten the balls with a chapathi roller(dust some flour) and make thin small chapathis.Fill them with 1 tsp of filling and fold carefully(as shown in the video ). Press the edges using a fork.
Heat a tawa, Spread 2 Tb. Sp oil. Place the prepared snack & cook in low-medium heat. Gently press and flip occasionally. Cook till the outer portion turns Crispy. Switch off the flame. Serve hot😊
** Add your choice of vegetables for the filling.
** Don’t overcook the potatoes.
