We think of salads or even just cucumber carrots and beans. I mean a lot of time that’s the salad I see. Now I know that it is available most times but we also have some other ingredients available in our country.

When you look at salad we look at it as raw food. It could be raw, it could be cooked. I have slightly steamed corn and broccoli. I have some cucumbers, carrots, bell peppers, roasted nuts and I have some lettuce leaves.

So what I’m gonna do is I am going to show you how to make a wholesome salad that you gonna eat for dinner and then you do not need much food at night.

This is a great way to increase greens and increase raw food and make it tasty as well. So I am going to make a wholesome meal by adding some protein.

I have some egg white here, you can have boiled chicken, I also have some good fat by roasted nuts and seeds or roasted walnuts as it doesn’t matter.

The dressing is made from scratch and it has dahi, hung curd with onion, garlic, a little bit of pepper and salt, and a little teaspoon of honey just to sweeten it. Now you can make it fun and exciting and you don’t need to be a chef to make it.

It is simple and all these ingredients are easily available in the local market. Make it so that you can like eating crunchy vegetables and salads.

So I start with lettuce leaves. I wash and dry them and cut them into pieces. Now I will add some veggies. So I put some broccoli along with all the other veggies except the egg whites.

Now mix it and if you don’t have a big mixing bowl and you can just mix it in whatever you have. So for proteins, you can add egg white or you can add chicken or you can add whatever you like. So I am going to add some egg white and everything is here in the big bowl.

Mix it a bit before putting on your dressing. Now comes the dressing. The dressing can either be put while you are mixing or you can put it individually on the plate. Leave some dressing in case someone wants it right on their salad. If you have some cold-pressed olive oil you can add to it.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any today to add to it. A salad like this will definitely fill you up. Now I will add the roasted nuts just before eating or else they will get soggy.
