Methi Mushroom Recipe Indian Style , Healthy Mushroom Recipe , Fenugreek Mushroom Recipe

Ingredients:

Mushroom – 250 gms
Methi (Fenugreek Leaves) 1 medium bunch

For Masala:
Onion – 1 small
Tomato -2 small
Poppy seeds (gasagasalu) – 1 tsp (soak in water for 30 mins)
Green Chilli -1
Garam Masala – 1 tsp

For Gravy:
Oil – 1.5 tbsp
Chilli Powder – 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp
Coriander Powder(Dhaniya) – 1 tsp
Cumin Powder(Jeera) – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp

Preparation:
Masala:
– In a mixer jar add Onion roughly chopped 1 small.
– Add 2 small tomatoes, Poppy seeds (Gasagasalu 1 tsp)
(Soak Poppy seeds in water for 30 mins for smooth grinding)
– Add 1 small green chilli, 1 tsp garam masala.
– Blend into smooth paste.

Gravy:
– In a pan heat 1.5 tbsp oil and add prepared masala.
– Cook for around 5 mins till the raw flavor is gone on medium heat.
– Add 1 tbsp chilli powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp Coriander (Dhaniya) Powder.
– Add Cumin (Jeera) Powder 1 tsp, 1 tsp salt to taste.
– Mix well and simmer for 2 mins till oil oozes out.
– Add Mushrooms cut into halves around 250 grams.
– Mix gently and cook around 5 mins on medium heat.
– Mushrooms will ooze out some water.
– Add fresh chopped methi (fenugreek leaves) 1 medium bunch.
– Mix well and simmer for 10 mins, do not cover with lid.
(covering with lid will over cook and change the color of leaves)
– When oil floats on top and gravy is little thick, switch off the stove.
– Healthy Methi Mushroom is hot and ready to enjoy
