The Torres Sisters – Week 20. It’s time to “Level Up”! The girls are five months in to this weight loss journey. From 180lb down to 148lbs, Heather Torres has put in the work week after week, but as of lately Heather had slowed down quite a bit. Why? Because she had hit in her mind her “end goal” to get down to her weight before pregnancy.

In today’s video we hit the kitchen with a special guest and Heather as she takes us through her favorite ground turkey recipe (found below). It’s an interesting conversation as we talk progress thus far, reaching goals, complacency, and what’s beyond all of that. Something I like to call Leveling Up. It’s all good and dandy when you’re striving for what you can see but what happens when you get there? For Heather Torres it’s time to get back at it and reach for the unknown! Scary but possible. It’s time to Level Up!

ZUCCHINI BOATS RECIPE
A. What you need:
5 Whole Zucchini
1 – 16oz. Package of ground turkey
1 can of salsa
1 package low fat shredded cheese
seasonings of choice

B. Directions:
1. Cut Zucchini in half long ways.
2. Hollow out the seeds and inners, and save for later in recipe.
3. Boil for 2 minutes until tender.
4. In separate pan, coat bottom in salsa of choice.
5. Layer in par cooked zucchini
6. Sauté ground turkey, stirring in seasoning to taste. Add in zucchini inners.
7. Layer the zucchini boats with the cooked ground turkey mixture.
8. Add layer of shredded cheese to top.
9. Cover with foil.
10. Bake for 30 minutes at 400degrees.
