How to make moong khichdi | Healthy rice recipe | Comfort food – Khichdi recipe

Ingredients:
– Sprouted moong – 1 cup
(wash & soak whole green gram (hare moong) overnight then drain out all water from it, & keep covered in a warm place for another 6 – 8 hours to get sprouts)

– Soaked rice – 1 cup
– Water – 2 cups
– Oil – 2-3 tbsp
– Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
– Green chilli – 1
– Tomato – 1 chopped
– Salt to taste
– Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
– Coriander powder – 1 tsp
– Hing / Asafoetida – a pinch
– Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
– Ghee
