Here is a very nutritive and tasty recipe – Multigrain Chapati breakfast which is low calorie. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Therefore, should be healthy and nutritious. Multigrain Chapati Breakfast (236 calories):
Vitamins: A, B1, B3, B6, B9, C, E, K
Minerals: Calcium, Copper, Iron, Manganese, Magnesium, Potassium, Phosphorous, Sodium, Zinc
Ingredients:
5 Tbsp multigrain flour*
2 Tbsp gram flour
1/2 Onion
1/3 Capsicum
1 Green chilli
1 Garlic clove
1/2 tomato
1 Tsp oil
To taste: Salt, turmeric, red chilli, ground cumin and coriander seeds
*Multigrain flour used was from MG products, Faisalabad.
Recipe:
Finely chop the onion, capsicum, green chilli, coriander leaves, garlic and tomato. Add all the chopped ingredients, gram flour and the multigrain flour in a bowl and mix well. Add little water during the mixing. Then add salt, turmeric, red chilli, ground cumin and coriander seeds. Mix by adding water to required consistency. Add oil in the frying pan and transfer the material. Spread it evenly. Cover for 5 minutes at medium flame. Change its side and cover again for 5-7 minutes at the flame. Your low-calorie highly nutritious breakfast is ready. Enjoy and stay healthy.
