Today, we’re excited to present our family’s favourite mini rye flatbread rounds. They’re exceptionally good for packing for lunch and they’re extremely versatile too. What we love most about these rye flatbread rounds is that they are so healthy, low-fat, compact and very satisfying due to their denser consistency. They go well with pretty much everything, you can even make your breakfast sandwich with eggs with them in lieu of English muffins, or your usual lunch sandwich with vegetables, bologna and cheese, for example. They’re amazing by themselves too. The rye bran in these flatbread rounds adds full of fiber which is amazing. Ingredients:
200 ml / 6.76 oz kefir (or buttermilk)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
25 g / 0.05 lbs rye bran
180 g / 0.39 lbs all-purpose flour
Cook in a heavy-bottomed pan without oil on low heat
