Layered Mathri- A crispy and flaky snack recipe made with flour,ghee& few spices. It is an ideal snack recipe prepared especially during the festival times.

Low calorie Chivda Mixture – It’s a crunchy, crispy treat with a delightful combination of salty and sweet flavors loaded with goodness of healthy ingredients and made with 1 tbsp oil.

Ingredients for Chivda:

1/2 cup fool makhana/foxnut
1 cup flattened rice poha (sieve it before roasting it)
1/2 cup muesli mixture/cornflakes
1 tablespoon cooking oil +1 tsp oil
¼ cup peanuts /moongphali
1/4 cup Almonds / badam
2 tablespoon raisins / dry grapes
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder / haldi
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder / lal mirch powder
salt to taste-1/2 tsp
2 teaspoon powdered sugar
Curry leaves- 15-20

Ingredients for Layered Mathri

1 katori/cup Maida
1 tbsp Chiroti Sooji
1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
1/2 tsp cumin seeds/jeera
1/2 tsp carom seeds/ajwain
2-3 tbsp water
Salt to taste(preferred use less salt)
Desi ghee – 2 Tbsp + 1/2 tsp brushing
Oil for fry
