If you have a sweet tooth and looking for something that is healthy than these oil and sugar free Oats and apple cookies are definitely worth a try. Extremely popular at my house these apple oatmeal cookies are very easy to make and delicious to taste.
Ingredients to make Oats and apple cookies:-
1 Cup Quick Oats
10-12 dates
1 Medium Size Apple
1-1/2 tsp Cinnamon powder
1 tbsp cocoa powder
10-12 Raw chopped almonds
1-2 tsp honey (optional)
Method to make healthy Apple oatmeal cookies :-
Grind 1 cup Quick Oats to make oats flour /powder
Grind 1 chopped apple and Dates ( remove the seeds) to make a paste
In a large bowl combine Oats flour and apple and Dates paste
( if the mixture become runny add some Oats, if it’s seems thick add some milk )
Add 1 tsp Cinnamon powder, 1 tbsp cocoa powder and 10-12 chopped raw almonds
Take a small portion and make a ball from the mixture, do the same with the whole mixture
Place the ball on a greased baking tray with a parchment paper.
Now using a fork flatten the ball ( use some water to clean so that the fork won’t become sticky)
Bake in a preheated oven at 180c for 18-20 minutes
Your cookies are ready to serve enjoy them as tea time snack or on the go breakfast
