This week we have Maglooba (upside down), this is a traditional middle eastern savory dish that melts the mouth and soul. Usually this dish is prepared with rice. However, we decided to make a healthier version by using quinoa and barley but still come up with the same delicious flavors. My mom is the amazing chef behind this recipe. It melts the heart and soul, the flavors are beyond words. You have to try and make it. It is low calorie, low glycemic index and still with the most amazing flavors.
