Broccoli Salad Recipe
Ingredients
Broccoli 300 gm
Garlic 1 tbsp
Green chilli 1
Pink Salt 1 tsp
Apple cider 1 tsp
Half lime juice
Coconut oil 1 tsp
Crushed red chillies 1 tsp
Sesame seeds (til) toasted 2 tablespoons
Method
Step 1
Separate broccoli florets keeping the stems intact. Cut them vertically into halves.
Step 2
Heat 2-3 cups water in a deep non-stick pan. Add broccoli florets and salt and blanch.
Step 3
To make the dressing, crush garlic cloves through a garlic press into a bowl. Add coconut oil, apple cider, lemon, salt and crushed red chillies and mix well.
Step 4
Remove the broccoli florets from the hot water and refresh in ice cold water. Set aside for 4-5 minutes.
Step 5
Pat them dry on a kitchen towel. Add the dressing and mix. Add the broccoli florets and toss to mix.
Step 6
Transfer into a serving bowl, sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve immediately.
