Methi rice recipe | fenugreek rice is healthy and flavourful rice or pulao recipe prepared from fresh methi leaves or fenugreek leaves. Methi rice is an ideal lunch box recipe or which can also be relished for dinner and is typically eaten with raita and or any dal recipe.

Methi rice/Fenugreek rice

Oil – 2 tbsp
Cinnamon – 1 inch
Cloves – 2
Cardamom – 2
Cumin seeds – 1/23 tsp
Cashew nuts – 10
Small onion – 1 chopped
Slit green chilies – 4 to 5
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Cleaned & chopped methi/fenugreek leaves – 1 big bunch
Fresh/Frozen green peas – 1/4 cup
Chopped tomatoes – 2
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
Cooked & cooled rice as required
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
