Assalamu alaikum and Hi friends!1hope you are all doing good??today also came with an interesting vlog call”healthy evening snacks using home made items”today made some crispy and tasty chips using my home garden yam called”kodi kilangu”in Tamil”edible air potato”in English…these type of yam is giving big yam in their root and these types of baby yams grow on top of the plant..means on the plant…this type of air potato is more healthier than potato….so I made some chips using these yams from my back garden for a good healthy treat to my children in their tea time….
That air potato or kodikilangu chips were so crispy as well as so tasty too…i was seasoning with some salt and home made chili powder to make the taste much and more….my kids love the the snack specially my 2.5 years old loved a lot…I was very happy that I am giving the right to my children alhamdhulillah…also made a home made natural colour using beet root to decorate some cup cakes for my children…my kids love cup cakes with butter cream a lot…so I thought to make it but there was a thing came across my mind was the food colour…there are many food colours among markets but with a lot chemicals…these types of food colouring make the children to eat anything because of the attraction but is it enough if kids only eat even it is not healthy??
So I thought to make red or pink colour using beetroot for colouring my butter cream for the cup cakes…so however I made the colour and decorated with the colour and my kids loved it….Again I am so happy about giving right to the children…also hoe made muffins always taste awesome if you need the recipe..check below…and there is a special thing,I sprinkle some home made tutti frutti on the butter cream so it was very beautiful and taste awesome too…so today also thinking that my video will be bit useful to some people…thanks a lot for your love and support…..take care and stay safe..!!

*Corn starch-half cup
*Rice flour-1 cup

For making beetroot food colouring
*Beetroo-2[med]
*Grind and take beet root juice-1 cup
*Sugar-3 TBsp
*Water for grinding
