Hi friends, today I am sharing 2 breakfast recipes for weight loss, it is made from moong dal and oats. We can call it as moong dal chilla or dosa and moong dal handvo.
Single moong dal chilla gives only 55 calories and single moong dal handvo gives only 155 calories. Loaded with proteins and fiber. This is a quick breakfast. To make moong dal chilla and handvo , I didn’t added rice and well and no fermentation required for these breakfast recipes. This is gluten free recipe those who have gluten sensitivity they can also add these 2 breakfast recipes in their diet plan as well as this recipe is suitable for pcos/pcod, thyroid, diabetes, and cholesterol.

Moong dal chilla (dosa
Serving-10 chilla (dosa)
Ingredients
1. Moong dal-100 g (1/2 cup)
2. Oats-30 g (1/4th cup)
3. Green chili-2
4. Ginger-as per taste
5. Cumin seeds (jeera)-1 tsp
6. Salt-as per taste
7. Oil- few drops
Cooking method
1. Take ½ cup moong dal add it in bowl.
2. Now add 1/4th cup oats.
3. Add 1 spoon fenugreek seeds.
4. Wash it.
5. Add 1 cup water soak it for 4 hours.
6. Now separate the water and soaked dal and oats into grinder.
7. Now add green chili, ginger, cumin seeds and grind it as fine paste.
8. Add 1/4th cup water, salt as per taste.
9. Mix well.
10. We can make 10 moong dal chiila (dosa) from this batter.
11. Heat the tawa.
12. Grease it with little oil.
13. Now take 1 spoon full batter, spread it on tawa.
14. Cook it both sides.
15. Our healthy high protein moong dal chila(dosa) is ready to serve.
16. We can have 4-5 dosa with chutney during breakfast time or dinner.
Moong dal handvo
Cooking method
1. Take tadhka pan.
2. Add ½ tsp oil.
3. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves.
4. Add 1 spoon full moong dal chilla batter.
5. Add chopped cabbage, chopped onion, chopped green chili.
6. Add 1 spoon full moong dal chilla batter.
7. Cover it and cook for both sides.
8. Healthy high protein moong dal handvo is ready to server.
9. We can have 2 handvo with chutney.
