Hi Guys, How are you all? So today, for the first time ever, I have baked, or rather tried to bake a very healthy tea time snack, Eggless Banana Walnut Bread. This is a perfect recipe for all the health freaks all there. I have mentioned some tweaks in the original recipe, so make you sure you watch the video till the end. And please lemme know if u happen to try this recipe too, and how it turned out.
Mentioning all the ingredients and the baking procedure below. 🙂

INGREDIENTS:
– 3 medium sized ripe bananas
– 1 cup whole wheat flour
– 1/2 cup finely grinned oats
– 1/2 cup any vegetable oil
– 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
– 1.5 tsp baking powder
– 1 tsp baking soda
– pinch of salt
– 1/4 cup of chocochips
– 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
RECIPE-
– Pre-heat the oven at 180 degree celsius.
– Line a rectangular bread tin with butter paper or grease it with oil or butter
– In a mixing bowl, add the chopped bananas along with sugar, and mash completely.
– Now add Vanilla essence and oil to this mixture.
– Sieve in all the dry ingredients i.e. whole wheat flour, oats flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder.
– At this stage, also add in the choco chips and chopped walnuts.
– Mix all the ingredients well.
– Do not Over mix the batter.
– Pour the batter in the bread tin.
– Spread it evenly and sprinkle some more chopped walnuts on top and drizzle a little chocolate syrup .
– Bake it for 40 to 45 minutes at 180 degree celsius or until a toothpick inserted in the bread comes out clean.
– Baking time may vary depending upon the appliance.
– The benchmark is that a toothpick inserted in the bread should come out clean.
– After removing the bread from the oven, let it cool for 15-20 minutes.
– When the bread cools down a little, remove it from the pan, slice it and serve it warm.
PS: You could store the remaining banana walnut loaf wrapped in a cling wrap or keep it in a box in the fridge.
Always remember to warm the bread a little before serving.
Consume within 3-4 days.
