To make this recipe you need –
4 Slices of bread
1 cup Paneer (cottage cheese)
1 Tbsp Capsicum
2 Tbsp Onion
Salt (according to taste)
Black Pepper
1/2 Lemon
How to make?
1. In a bowl, mix paneer (cottage cheese), capsicum and onion.
2. Add salt and black pepper according to taste.
3. Add 1/2 lemon and mix well.
4. Take two slices of bread and trim the corners.
5. Now, roll the bread with a rolling pin to flatten the slices.
6. Place 1 tbsp of your filling and fold the bread oh all four sides using water.
7. Refrigerate your bread pockets for 20 minutes to make sure they fry well.
8. Now heat a pan and add oil. Once oil is heated, place 2 bread pockets in the pan. Keep the pan on medium flame and fry until pockets turned golden brown.
Once done remove the pockets on a kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
Your Paneer Bread Pockets are now ready!
Additional notes:
You can add other ingredients like corn, green peas and chillies if you want to make it spicier.
This recipe can be served with ketchup and pudina coriander chutney.
