Serving healthy meals to children is important to provide good nutrition. Healthy eating means eating a variety of foods so that your child gets a healthy and balanced diet as each food has a unique mix of nutrients- both macronutrients (such as Protein, Carbohydrate, Fat) and micronutrients (Vitamins and Minerals).
If your child regularly eats a wide variety of basic foods, he or she will be well-nourished and will stay healthy, grow up healthy, and strong. Nutrition for children can also help establish a foundation for healthy eating habits. The more your child understands nutrition, the more excited he will be about eating healthy.
