recipe: 5 almonds, 2 cashews, 2 walnuts, 2 pistas unsalted, few pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds, dry dates (grind into little coarse powder),1tsp poppy seeds, 100gms of Rajgira atta (amaranth grain flour),100gms of jaggery (add per taste), 4tbsp ghee.
heat ghee on medium flame + add atta & poppy seeds with dryfruit powder. roast & keep stirring till golden brown. add ghee if atta is dry. add 200 ml luke warm water (add if required).mix well. when water is absorbed add jaggery.keep high flame.
stir till jaggery melts.keep stirring as halwa should not stick to bottom.when halwa starts leaving sides means Halwa is ready. serve hot with finely chopped dryfruits.
