Fresh hot taaja taaja
( INSTRUMENTAL PASSAGE/ INGREDIENTS FOR KHICHURI : 1 tsp whole cumin, 1 onion sliced, 1 tomato sliced, 1 tsp garlic chopped, 1 tsp ginger chopped, 1 cup broccoli chopped, 1 cup green peas, 1 cup carrots sliced thin, 1 cup cauliflower florets, 1/2 cup quinoa soaked 20 min in water, 1/4 cup masoor dal, 1/4 cup moong dal, 1 tsp turmeric, 1/4 tsp chilli powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, salt to taste, heart healthy oil )

Broccoli, green peas, carrot and cauliflower
Lightly boil for nutrition power
Heat oil ( in pressure cooker ), add cumin,
Garlic and ginger,
Onion, tomato, salt and nicely stir
Add the turmeric and chilli, cumin and coriander
Then the quinoa, masoor dal and moong dal and stir
Add green chillies, enough water and let it pressure cook
Add the veggies to the khichuri for a multicolour look!

Next is Begun Bhaja, let’s make Begun Bhaja

( INGREDIENTS FOR BEGUN BHAJA : one brinjal, salt, turmeric, heart healthy oil )
Slice your brinjal, just sufficiently thick,
Marinate with salt and some turmeric
Spoonful of oil heat in a non stick pan
Fry the brinjal, as slow as you can
Turn them until both sides are golden brown
You have the healthiest, yummiest rainy day meal in town!
Nutritious and tasty khichuri in the rain
You may never eat the unhealthy version again!
