Ingredients of Non Sticky Vermicelli Upma:

– 200 gm vermicelli
– 1 tbs oil
– 2 tbs peanut
– 1 small onion (chopped)
– 1/2 cup carrot (chopped)
– 1/2 cup beans (chopped)
– 1/2 cup capcicum (chopped)
– 2 green chillies (slit)
– 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
– salt
– 1/2 tsp sugar

Method of Non Sticky Vermicelli Upma:

– Heat water in a pan & let it boil. When the water starts boiling, add vermicelli and stir well. Boil for 2-3 mins on high flame. Strain it & pour some normal water over it.
– Heat oil in a pan & add peanut. Fry for 2-3 mins on medium flame. Keep aside.
– In same oil add onion and fry till soft. Now add carrot, beans, capcicum & green chillies. Fry for 1 minute on medium flame. Add turmeric powder & salt. Cook for a minute. Cover & cook for 2 mins.
– Add boiled vermicelli, fried peanuts, salt & sugar. Mix everything well. Cover & rest for 2-3 mins.
– Your Non Sticky Vermicelli Upma is ready to serve.
