Today I’m showing you an interesting, very simple, yummy and healthy protein rich breakfast recipe…that is Multi Millet Masala Dosa. Millet Dosa is made with 5 types of Millets – Foxtail Millet, Little Millet, Finger Millet, Pearl Millet, Jowar Millet and Idli Rice. It is traditionally made and a very healthy, protein rich breakfast option. It is traditionally served with Allam Chutney, Palli Podi, Coconut Chutney also. It is a delicious combination of Carbohydrates, Protein and a great Vegan option too. It is a very tasty yet simple recipe, so easy to prepare and can be done in 10-15 mins. So, I’m showing you here how to make it at home in a healthier way with simple ingredients and tips and tricks to get the perfect texture.

Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Foxtail Millet
1/2 Cup Little Millet
1/2 Cup Finger Millet
1/2 Cup Pearl Millet
1/2 Cup Jowar Millet
1/2 Cup Idli Rice
1/2 Cup Poha
1 Tsp Fenugreek Seeds
Salt to taste
Ghee

Aloo Curry Ingredients –
4 Boiled Potatoes
Chopped Onions
Green Chillies
Onions
Grated Carrot
Grated Ginger
Coriander Leaves
Curry Leaves
Lemon Juice
1/4 Tsp Turmeric
1 Tsp Mustard Seeds
1 Tsp Channa Dal
1 Tsp Urad Dal
Salt

Recipe –
Heat a pan, add 1 Tsp Oil, 1 Tsp Mustard Seeds, 1 Tsp Channa Dal, 1 Tsp Urad Dal and saute
Add Chopped Onions, Green Chillies, Grated Ginger, Grated Carrot and saute
Next add Curry Leaves, 1/4 Tsp Turmeric, Salt to taste and mix well
Then add Mashed Potatoes and mix well
That’s it Aloo Masala for Dosas is ready!!

Recipe:
Take all the Millets (Foxtail Millet, Little Millet, Finger Millet, Pearl Millet, Jowar Millet) 1/2 Cup each and soak them in sufficient water for 6 to 8 hrs
Take 1/2 Cup Idli Rice, 1 Tsp Fenugreek Seeds and soak them in sufficient water for 6 to 8 hrs
Before blending the batter, soak 1/2 Cup Poha for 30 mins
Take a blender, add the soaked millets and now blend all the ingredients into Dosa batter consistency
Transfer it to a bowl and again add soaked Idli Rice, Poha and blend it into dosa batter consistency
Transfer the batter into a bowl and let it ferment for 6-8 hrs/overnight
Take a dosa tawa and let it heat
Now take a ladle full of batter and spread it into a dosa as shown
Add 1 Tsp Ghee and cook it on a medium flame
Add the Aloo Masala on it and spread evenly
Let it fry for 1 to 1.5 mins until it turns into golden brown color
Fold the Dosa, add 1 Tsp Ghee and let it fry for another 1 to 1.5 mins
This a rich protein and ideal breakfast because we used 5 Millets and so it gives sufficient energy throughout the day
That’s it Delicious and Healthy Protein Rich Breakfast Multi Millets Masala Dosa is ready!!
