Sweet potato appam :
Ingredients:
* Raw sweet potato (shakarkandi) – 1.5 cup, Finley grated
* Fine rava (sooji) (semolina) – 1 cup
* Rice flour – 1/4 cup
* Jaggery – 1/3 cup, as per the taste
* Salt – 3/4 tsp
* Water – 1.5 cup (add gradually)
* Fresh coconut – 2 tbsp, finely chopped
* Black til – 2 tbsp (roasted)
* Elaichi powder – 1/4 tsp
* Baking soda – 1/4 tsp
* Ghee for roasting
Methi tomato paratha :
Ingredients:
* Tomato – 1 big, roughly chopped
* Garlic – 4-5 cloves
* Ginger – 1 inch, roughly chopped
* Wheat flour – 2 cup
* Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
* Salt – 1 tsp, as per the taste
* Chilly flakes – 3/4 tsp
* Ajwain (ova) – 3/4 tsp
* 2 pinch of hing
* Methi leaves – 2 cup, finely chopped
* Coriander leaves – 1/2 cup, finely chopped
* Oil – 2 tbsp
* Water as required for kneading (add gradually)
* Oil or ghee for roasting
Vegetable chilla –
Ingredients:
* Raw rice – 1.5 cup (soaked in water for 3-4 hours)
* Boiled potato – 2 medium size
* Ginger – 1/2 inch (roughly chopped)
* Green chilly – 2-3
* Water – (1.5 cup (for grinding) + 1/2 cup)
* Capsicum – 1/4 cup, finely chopped
* Boiled corn- 1/2 cup
* Carrot – 1/2 cup, finely chopped
* Onion- 1/2 cup, finely chopped
* Boiled peas – 1/2 cup
* Coriander leaves – 1/4 cup, finely chopped
* Curry leaves – 1 tsp, finely chopped
* Cumin (jeera) – 1 tsp
* Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
* Chilly flakes – 1/2 tsp
* Salt – 1.5 tsp (as per then taste)
* Lemon juice – 1.5 tdp
* Baking soda – 1/4 tsp
* Oil for roasting
