PREP 1 – Marinate :
🐟turmeric powder
🐟red chilli powder
🐟Kashmiri red chilli powder
🐟salt
🐟mustard oil
Add enough oil to mix the fish pieces well with the dry spices.
Add the quantity of dry spices as per your desired taste.
Let the marinated fish rest till you do other masala preparation.

PREP 2 :
Make a paste of 1tbsp yellow mustard powder/seeds with 2 small tomatoes
Also,
Make 1 cup tomato purée

PREP 3 :
Fry the marinated fish fillets in hot mustard oil until cooked and browned

Step 1 – Heat 2tbsp mustard oil.To it add 1tsp black mustard seeds

Step 2 – when the seeds start spluttering, add 1tbsp ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell of the paste fades away

Step 3 – add the mustard-tomato paste and cook stirring at regular intervals until it releases the oil

Step 4 – add dry spices(shown in the video) mix and cook well

Step 5 – add 1 cup tomato purée and cook it well covered at low flame.

Step 6 – when masalas get cooked, add enough warm water to get a thin consistency.

Step 7 – slide in some of the fried fish pieces and let the curry simmer for 5-10minutes at low flame

Step 8 – Place fried fish pieces on the serving plate and pour the curry on top to cover the fish.Garnish with plenty of chopped coriander leaves.
Relish it with steamed rice and a bowl of salad #my_fancy_flair
