Omapodi sev – These crispy deep-fried snack is a very popular teatime snack of India. The main ingredient of it is chickpea flour (besan) mixed with ajwain (carom seeds).

Omapodi recipe;
Step1- Take 1 cup of OGMO Little Millet Cassic premix in a bowl.
Step 2- Add 1/2 tsp. red chilly powder, pinch of turmeric powder, 1/4th tsp. crushed carom seeds (ajwain), 2 tsp. oil, and combine all ingredients together with very little water.
Step 4 – Make Omapodi sev as shown in the video.
Notes;
1. Fry them at medium flame.
2. This OGMO premix already has pink salt, pepper, methi, urad dal powder.
3. Methi powder in this mix may make the Omapodi taste slightly bitter.
6. You can use OGMO Foxtail Millet flour also to make the same.
LITTLE MILLET
Little millet are the smallest minor millets and is known as Kutki in Hindi and Samai in Tamil.
It boosts immunity and has exceptional nutritional values.
