Who’s with me that finger foods just hit different??

This is one quick and easy weeknight meal that tastes amazing and really hits the spot. Feel free to swap out the protein to what works for you, and as far as toppings go, get as creative and over the top as you want!

Here is how I made mine:
.
1.Grab 1lb grassfed ground beef or protein of choice. Add 1 packet of hot taco seasoning (be sure to use one that doesnt have preservatives or sugar added to it). Give it a really good mix, then add to a pan with 1 tablespoon of avocado oil and cook it up. You’ll want to use a spatula to break apart the taco meat continuously so its small and not clumpy.

2.Grab a bowl and your base. You can use butterhead lettuce, low calorie tortillas, or whatever you prefer. Add your base to the bowl, then add about 5-8oz of the ground beef.

3.Top with a small handful of crumbled/shredded cheese of choice. I went with queso fresco.
4.Then add your favorite toppings. I went with sliced red onion, jalapeños, avocado, sour cream, pico, fresh lime juice, and chile lime seasoning.
5.If you want guac, make some guac! For my guac I typically use 1 avocado, the juice of 1 small lime or half a lemon, 2 fresh garlic cloves finely minced/grated, salt, pepper, and a large handful of finely chopped cilantro. Add whatever ratios you like. Give it a good mash with a fork or spoon.

6.Then just assemble away, pile it up high, and enjoy.
