Upma recipe, Vermicelli Upma or Semiya Upma is an easy and healthy breakfast recipe from southern and western parts of India. It is made with roasted vermicelli or semiya, and it can be prepared in several variations. The recipe is very simple and takes more than 10 min to prepare.
INGREDIENTS :
1. Fried Vermicelli (Semiya) – 1 cup
2. Cashew – 10-12
3. Onion – 1 small
4. Green Chilli – 1-2
5. Raisin – Handful
6. Grated Coconut – 2 tbsp
7. Salt – as per taste
8. Sugar – 1/2 tsp
9. Oil – 1tbsp
10. Boiling Water – 1&1/2 cups
TEMPERING :
1. Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
2. Cumin seeds – 1tsp
3. Curry Leaves – 6-7
