In today’s video I’ll be sharing 3 slow cooker meals that are low in calorie, slimming world friendly and something the whole family will enjoy.
I’ll be sharing a slow cooked beef goulash, a chicken chow mien and a morrocan lamb dish.

Ingredients List
Beef Goulash
Diced beef
250 ml beef stock
2tbsp tomato puree
2 peppers
2 red onions
2 garlic cloves
2tbsp paprika
1tsp caraway seeds
handful of parsely
1tbsp sour cream
rice to serve
Chow Mein
4 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tsp Chinese rice vinegar
or white wine vinegar
4 garlic cloves, crushed
2cm piece of root ginger
peeled and grated
1 tsp Chinese
five-spice powder
4 skinless and boneless
chicken breasts, cut into
bite-sized pieces
350g dried egg noodles
low calorie cooking spray
1 carrot, peeled,
halved and sliced
200g mangetout, halved
lengthways
225g can water chestnuts,
drained
225g can bamboo shoots,
drained
1 red pepper, deseeded
and sliced
100g baby sweetcorn,
halved lengthways
bunch of spring onions
sliced diagonally
60g fresh bean sprouts,
rinsed
1 level tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
/2 tsp toasted sesame oil
1 nest of noodles per serving
Moroccan Lamb Curry
1 onions
thumb sized ginger
Lamb legs
tin of chick peas
Tin tomatoes
3tbsp madras paste
25g red lentils
1 cinnamon stick
1tsp cumin seeds
2tsp boullion powder
handful of kale
rice to serve
