Recipe: Masala Roasted Chickpeas

Ingredients:
– 250 gm boiled chickpeas
– salt as per your taste
– 2- 3 tbsp olive oil
– 2-3 tbsp lemon or lime juice(you can add less incase you don’t like it too sour)
– 1 tsp rock salt
– 1 tsp red pepper powder
– 1 tsp cumin powder
– 1 tsp chaat masala powder

Method:
– Pat dry the boiled chickpeas thoroughly
– Take off the husk from the chickpeas
– In a bowl, add chickpeas, salt, lemon juice and olive oil
– Mix it well
– Spread it in a baking tray
– Roast it for 30 mins at 180 degrees (it depends on your oven, the texture of the chickpeas needs to be borderline crunchy, so check it from time to time)
– Take it off the oven and in a separate bowl, add the rock salt, red pepper powder, cumin powder, chaat masala powder
– Mix it well so the chickpeas are nicely coated in the masala
– That’s it you are done! You are have it straight away or keep it in an airtight container for 3-5 days!
