I make this fried rice in under 45 minutes and it serves the whole family. Simple ingredients but flavours are absolutely delicious.
This is a great recipe to keep if you are a busy professional or have a busy lifestyle.
I served this fried rice with my asian cucumber salad.
Recipe for fried rice
Ingredients
Basmati rice
Chicken breast
A carrot
Green beans
Soy sauce
Salt
Onion powder
Crushed chilli
Sugar
Ginger garlic
An egg
Cooked basmati rice (You do not need to use old cooked rice when you use basmati rice).
Basmati rice is not sticky so you can cook it just before you start cooking your fried rice.
Marinate chicken breast with sugar, soy sauce, crushed chilli onion powder. Cook the chicken breast in medium heat in the wok keeping the lid on.
When the chicken breast is cooked, remove from the wok, using a fork pull the chicken.
Do not wash the wok, there are a good amount of flavours left in the wok. So we are going to use the same wok to prepare our fried rice.
