Who says salads are boring? With all that colour and flavour your little ones will look forward to this meal that’s packed with protein, fibre and all the right nutrients. The millet noodles with keep them satiated for longer, while keeping their tummies happy and healthy. Keep them cool with this noodle salad this summer break!
– Slurrp Farm Noodles
– ½ cup freshly squeezed orange juice
– 2 spoons soy sauce
– 1 spoon brown sugar
– ½ spoon salt
– 1 tsp lemon juice
– ¼ cup finely chopped onion
– ¼ cup long thinly sliced carrot
– ¼ cup julienne cucumber
– ¼ cup long sliced purple cabbage
– ¼ cup roasted peanuts
– ¼ cup sprouted moong
– Fresh chopped coriander
Method:
1. Boil noodles as per instruction on pack.
2. In a bowl, add fresh orange juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, noodle spice mix, chilli flakes, salt and lemon. Mix everything together.
3. Add onion, cucumber, carrot and purple cabbage. Add round shaped cucumber, roasted peanuts, sprouted moong, coriander and salt. Mix everything together.
4. Add boiled noodles to the bowl and mix gently.
