Hello! Today I am sharing with you a fantastically simple recipe for an incredibly tasty and healthy bread without yeast, without eggs, without gluten and without any flour at all.
We start with the preparation of peas. Soak 250 g of peas overnight. In the morning, rinse them and drain the water. Transfer to a blender, pour a glass of water, then put 1 tsp. of salt (I have pink Himalayan salt), 1 tsp. of baking powder, 1 tsp. of soda, dried garlic, some turmeric for color, nutmeg, a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and olive oil.
We start the blender, in the process we add psyllium. Due to it, the dough becomes thick. We do not add much, the blender will be hard. I added another spoon in the plate, you can still add flax, I have it pre-soaked. I recommend always soaking all seeds. They are so much better absorbed.
We mix everything well. You can add more cumin, suneli hops, zira or any other seasonings that you like. Due to them, the taste will be more interesting. You can add sun-dried tomatoes or olives. Feel free to experiment. We take the form, grease the parchment paper with any oil, so that it is easier to get it out. We also grease our hands with oil so that the dough does not stick. With light movements we form bread. I divided the dough into two parts. I have got two small loaves. Then with a spatula I made strips with a small indentation.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 50 minutes. The time may vary + – 10 minutes, depending on the power of your oven. Readiness is checked with a wooden stick. When piercing the dough, it should remain dry and clean. The result is a real bread with a soft and delicate texture and very delicious. You can’t even say that it is made from peas in taste. Such bread can be eaten with butter, salads, pates, as an appetizer or with the main meal instead of a side dish. It is nutritious, healthy and low-calorie. Perfect for those who care about their figure.
