Paneer Sandwich Recipe. Healthy Recipes for All.
Paneer Sandwich
Ingredients
1. Bread slices – 6-8
2. Paneer block – Around 200 gm, thinly sliced
3. Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder – 2 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
Chat masala powder – 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Corn starch – 3/4 tsp
Lemon juice – 1.5 tsp
Salt
Oil – 1.5 tsp
2. Onion – 1/2 cup, finely chopped
Cilantro – 3-4 tbsp, chopped
3. Chat masala powder – 3/4 tsp or as required
4. Butter, softened – 2-3 tbsp
Method
1. Combine chopped onion and cilantro in a small bowl.
2. Combine all the ingredients numbered 3. Spread thinly on both sides of the paneer slices.
3. Heat 1-2 tsp oil in a nonstick pan. Fry paneer slices on both sides for 30 seconds- 1 minute. Place on a bread slice (you can spread butter/green chutney/ mayonnaise on the bread slice). Top it with onion cilantro mix followed by a pinch of chat masala powder. Place a bread slice. Spread butter on top. Grill on a tawa or sandwich maker. Serve immediately.
