Despite how active and healthy Vancouver is as a city, Barbora and her husband noticed there weren’t that many salad-focused restaurants in town to enjoy—so they decided to start one. They launched Field & Social, a healthy spot offering carefully crafted salads and warm grain bowls made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Customers can choose a crowd-pleasing classic or unique salad combo, with plant-based and gluten-free options available so everyone can find something they like. Many of the ingredients are proudly sourced from local suppliers who stock the salad bar with goods like grains, kombucha and tempeh. Designed to be a gathering place for locals, Barbora and her tight-knit team have worked hard to cultivate Field & Social into the perfect space for pop-up brunches or dinner, flower making workshops and other fun events.
