2. Weight loss diabetic friendly snack of quinoa: Start your day with a hearty healthy breakfast quinoa bowl.
Ingredients:
1 cup whisked yogurt
1/2 cup milk
1 cup cooked quinoa
1 cup fruits blue berry, black berry, straw berry banana pieces
1 cup dry fruits: walnut almond pistachio ( you can add fruits & nuts of your choices
A handful of finely chopped mint leaves
1 finely chopped green chilly
Spices:red chilly powder, roasted cumin seed powder,sugar
Salt to taste
Weight loss diabetic friendly quinoa snack is ready. It also tastes super delicious.
2. Hearty healthy quinoa salad with microgreens;
1 cup cooked quinoa
1/2 cup finely chopped tomato
1/2 cup finely chopped carrot
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup sprouted moong dal
1/2 cup spring mix green salad chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped avocado
Toss with beet root dressing
2 tbsp shredded beet root, 1tsp lemon juice, 1 tsp olive oil, a pinch of black pepper and rock salt
Salt to taste
Hearty healthy quinoa salad is ready. Healthiest way to eat salad
3. Healthy quinoa KHICHADI:
1 cup cooked quinoa washed thoroughly
1 cup split moong dal ( you can change ratio as per your choice)
2 cups mixed vegetables: cauliflower, beans, tomato carrots ( can add vegetables of your choice as
per taste & season)
2 green chilies finely chopped
1tsp ginger minced
1 tsp garlic finely chopped
1 tbsp ghee or oil
3.5 cups of water
A handful of finely chopped coriander leaves
Spices: 1tsp cumin seeds
1tsp mustard seeds
1tsp red chilly powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp Garam masala
A pinch of asafoetida
Salt to taste
Healthy comfort food light on stomach is ready, both as a healthy lunch or dinner.
