1. soak barley(without skin) whole night
2.Cut the vegetables like beans, carrots,green peas,capsicum etc. and saute in a pan then cook barley with it.Once the taste of all the vegetables get absorbed in it ,then put off flame
3.garnish with coriander.
4.Put lemon juice if you like
5.your barley khichdi is ready
