Whenever I’m in a calorie deficit, these are my go-to low calorie food items PART 17 🥬
LETTUCE
– Umm it’s lettuce? 😂
– Extremely low calorie
– Amazing for increasing food volume
– Amazing for salads as it pretty much absorbs all of the sauces
– Also using them to make lettuce wraps is also quite fun as well and it helps keep you distracted when eating (like when you’re having Korean BBQ 🤤)
AVALANCHE’S 99% SUGAR FREE RANGE
– If you’re in Australia then I recently found this at Coles and Woolworths!
– Most of them are only around 30 calories per drink and it tastes so good and all you need to do is add hot water 👌🏼
– If you have the calories, have some biscuits with it and oh my lord
– I personally find that it keeps me quite full and can help curb my cravings too 🙂
HAM
– Low fat and in high protein
– I don’t find myself eating a lot of it as it’s thinly sliced which means it’s great for a small protein snack if you’re using for things like a toasted sandwich
– Also goes well with rice cakes + cottage cheese + Naked Hero Foods peanut butter + apples hehehe
