Preparation

Ingredients:
1 cup Black Chickpeas (Kala Chana)
1 Onion (Pyaaj)
1 Tomato (Tamatar)
2 Green Chillies (Hari Mirch)
1 Lemon (Nimbu)
1 Cucumber (Kheera)
Coriander (Hara Dhaniya)
Instructions:
Soak the black chickpeas overnight in water.
Drain the water and tie the soaked chickpeas in a cloth. Hang it overnight to allow sprouting.
Cut the cucumber, onion, tomato, green chillies, and coriander into small pieces.
In a bowl, combine the sprouted chickpeas and the cut vegetables.
Add the following spices: half tablespoon of salt (Namak), half tablespoon of black salt (Kala Namak), half tablespoon of cumin powder (Jeera Powder), 1/4 tablespoon of black pepper powder (Kali Mirch Powder), half tablespoon of chaat masala, 1/4 tablespoon of raw mango powder (Amchur), and 1/2 tablespoon of red chili powder (Lal Mirch Powder).
Squeeze the juice of half a lemon (Nimbu) over the salad.
Mix all the ingredients well, ensuring they are evenly coated with the spices.
Optionally, garnish with lemon slices, green chillies, and fresh coriander leaves.
Serve the delicious and healthy Chana Salad as a refreshing snack or as a side dish with your meals.
