Diet pakoda, single pakoda gives only 29 calories and 1.5 g of protein..These diet pakodas are the best alternative to regular fried pakoda, best for weight loss, we can have it during dinner or as snacks also. It is a gluten free and vegan recipe.
To prepare these pakodas we are using @twobrothersorganicfarmsindia chana dal , lots of vegetables, and sunflower oil. The Two Brothers Chana Dal is unpolished and hence retains more nutrition. It’s made using the desi variety Harbhara Chana.
The Sunflower Oil is Cold-pressed and unrefined. It’s versatile in application and perfect for Indian cooking.
Diet pakoda
Serving-15 pakoda
Ingredients
1-Two brother chana dal-1/2 cup(100 gm)
2-Onion-30 gm(small size)
3-Coriander leaves-30 gm(handful)
4-Green chili as per taste
5-Garlic-5 cloves
6-Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
7-Salt-as per taste
8-Turmeric powder-1/4th tsp
9-seasoning-as per taste
10 Two brother sunflower oil-2 tsp
Method
1-Wash and soak chana dal for 3-4 hours.
2-Add in a mixer jar, green chili, garlic cumin seeds, and grind it coarsely. Note don’t add water to it, grind it in Wisk mode.
3-Now add chopped onion, chopped coriander leaves, salt, turmeric powder, and seasonings. Mix well.
4-Make ladoo from this batter.
5-Heat the appe pan, add two brothers sunflower oil, and grease it.
6-Now roast the diet pakoda on both sides.
Our healthy low-calorie diet pakoda is ready to serve. Enjoy with chutney.
