Ingredients

3/4 cup gram flor (besan)
2 tablespoon rice flour
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon black pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 tablepoon garlic paste
salt to taste
Mix chopped vegetables of your choice i.e Potato, Zucchini, Culi flower, Capsicum, Green Chilli

Now that we have our ingredients ready, let’s start with the batter. In a mixing bowl add 3/4 cup gram flor (besan),2 tablespoon rice flour,1 teaspoon red chilli powder,1 teaspoon black pepper powder,1/2 teaspoon cumin powder,1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder,1 tablepoon garlic paste, salt to taste. Mix everything together until well combined. Gradually add water and whisk until you get a smooth and thick consistency.
Next, let’s add our chopped vegetables. Toss the vegetables into the batter, making sure they are evenly coated. The batter should stick nicely to the veggies.
Now comes the exciting part! We’ll be using an air fryer to cook our pakoras, making them much healthier than deep-fried ones.
Preheat the cosori air fryer for 5 minutes at 205 degree c. Then lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil. This will prevent the pakoras from sticking. Once the air fryer is ready, carefully place the vegetable-coated pakoras in a single layer inside the basket. You may need to cook them in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer. Set the timer for 18 to 20 minutes at 190 degree c and let the air fryer work its magic. At the halfway mark, around 5 minutes, open the air fryer and apply oil on pakoras. Then let this cook for another 3 minutes and flip it and apply oil on this side as well. Keep on shaking after every 5 minutes and once golden brown, take this out.Serve your Mix Vegetable Pakoras hot with your favorite chutney or dip. Mint chutney and tamarind chutney work wonderfully with these pakoras.
