Dosa

Ingredients :
Rice flour – 1 1/2 cups
Semolina/Suji – 1/2 cup
Onion (finely chopped) – 1/4 cup
Carrot (finely chopped) – 1/4 cup
Coriander (finely chopped) – 1/4 cup
Curry leaves – few
Green chillies – 2
Water – 4 cups

Recipe :
1. Take all ingredients a bowl one by one. Mix well and add the water slowly while stirring.
2. Batter should have a watery consistency. Cover and keep aside for 20 minutes.
3. Stir the batter once again .
4. In a hot pan, spread the batter and sprinkle oil.
5. Lower the gas to medium and cook till brown and crispy.
6. Serve hot with Chutney.

Peanut Chutney

Ingredients:
Peanuts – 1/2 cup
Roasted Gram Dal – 1/2 cup
Dried red chili – 3
Garlic – 2 cloves
Tamarind – small amount
Salt – as required

Recipe:
1. Dry roast all ingredients except the tamarind in a pan till smell of all starts coming out.
2. Transfer to a blender, add tamarind and little water. Blend to paste.
3. Temper with mustard seeds and curry leaves.

Oats Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:
Oats- 2tbsp
Peanut butter – 1 tsp
Almonds – 8
Dated (de seeded) – 3
Milk – 1/2 cup
Banana – 1
Honey – 1 tbsp (optional)
Cinnamon powder – a pinch

Recipe :
1. Soak the Oats in warm water for 1/2 hour.( soak overnight if possible)
2. Take all ingredients in a blender and blend well.
3. Transfer to a glass and garnish with dry fruits and Cinnamon powder.
