Here’s how to make a healthier, high protein beef and broccoli!

150g Outside Round (or other lean roast)
2 cloves Garlic
1 tbsp Ginger (fresh)
1 tsp Canola Oil
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1 Large Head Broccoli
1.5 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tsp Cornstarch
Chili Flakes
Sesame Seeds
Makes 1 serving!
Slice beef into thin strips. Toss with minced garlic, minced ginger, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, chili flakes, and cornstarch in a small bowl.
Heat 1 tsp canola oil in a pan over medium heat. Add steak strips, browning on one side before turning over and browning the other. No need to cook all the way through, just colour and remove.
Add broccoli florets, 2 tbsp of water, and cover. Cook for 2 minutes before adding beef back in, drizzling with sauce, and stirring until thickened.
Top with sesame seeds!
