As promised here is the BEST low carb black bean burger you will ever experience 😋 if you’re looking for a healthy, delicious and guilt-free meal you should try this one out! I could eat a good 5 sandwiches to the face and not worry because these burgers are packed with tons of protein (you know…the protein they say vegans don’t get enough of… 😂) anyways here’s the recipe:
3 cups cooked beans
3 cups cooked quinoa
1/2 cup arrowroot flour (or flour of choice)
2 tbsp BBQ sauce or homemade ketchup (recipe soon come)
1 tablespoon avocado oil
1 medium onion diced
1 cup red bell pepper, diced
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
½ teaspoon sea salt
Optional : @justspices vegetable all rounder seasoning
Add all ingredients to a food processor.
Oil hands before shaping patty mixture in hands to prevent sticking!
Oil skillet and on medium high heat cook patties for about 6 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
Serve on butter leaf lettuce “buns” + garnish with homemade ketchup, tomatoes, onions and avocado to keep this low carb and healthy-ish 😌
