Ingredients:
SUNDAL PODI
Corriander seeds – 4 tbsp
Red chillies – 10
Curry leaves – few

KARUPPU ULUNDHU Sundal
Karuppu ulundhu– 1 cup
Oil – 2 tsp
Mustards – 1 tsp
Urad dhal – 1 tsp
Green chilli – 1 no
Red chilli – 1 no
Asafoetida – ¼ tsp
Curry leaves few
Salt to taste
Sundal podi – for taste
Coconut gratings few

Procedure:
For sundal podi – Dry roast coriander seeds, red chillies and curry leaves for a minute and make it into a coarse powder.

Soak the karuppu ulundhu overnight and add sufficient water, salt to taste and pressure cook for 1 whistle. Heat a Kadai, pour oil, season with mustards, urad dhal, slit chillies, curry leaves and add the coconut gratings, asafoetida and little salt. To the seasoned mixture add boiled karupu ulundhu , sundal podi and mix well. Turn off the stove and garnish with some fresh coriander leaves.
