CHICKPEA SANDWICH
⬇️⬇️INGREDIENTS⬇️⬇️
▶Scallion-1(Chopped)
▶Cucumber-1 small (Chopped)
▶Cilantro-According to taste
▶Chickpea (canned/boiled at home)-19 oz
▶Pickled Jalapeno-6/7
▶Sesame Oil-2 tbsp
▶Sambal Sauce-2 tsp
▶Garlic Powder-1 tsp
▶Black Pepper Powder-1 tsp
▶Flax Seeds Powder-1 tsp
▶Salt-1 tsp
▶Tahini sauce (Homemade)
▶Avocado sauce (Homemade)
▶Whole Grain Bread
⬇️⬇️Method⬇️⬇️
1️⃣Prepare Avocado Sauce and Tahini Sauce.
2️⃣Chop sandwich toppings (scallion, cucumber, and cilantro). Keep it aside.
3️⃣Add chickpeas to a bowl. Rinse and drain chickpeas
4️⃣Mash with a fork for texture. Then add chopped scallion, cucumber, and cilantro.
5️⃣After that, add pickled jalapeno, sesame oil, sambal sauce, garlic powder, black pepper powder, flax seeds powder, avocado sauce, tahini sauce, and salt, and mix with a spoon.
6️⃣Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
7️⃣Pre-heat the griddle on medium heat
8️⃣Scoop a healthy amount of filling onto one of the pieces of bread and top with another slice of bread.
9️⃣Spray the griddle and place bread slices
1️⃣0️⃣Grill around 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned
1️⃣1️⃣Ready to serve.
