Hey guys Nathan Jackson here from Nathan Jackson calm we’re going to make two recipes here for the price of one but when it’s actually leads into the second one here so the first one is going to be almond milk which is super simple two ingredients doesn’t get much easier than
That and then we have almond milk so I’m going to take a nut milk bag here and strain if I’m gonna give you a little bit of a closer look at that so here’s the first step of making your almond now I’m going to use a nut milk bag to
Strain this these are great little tools for juicing and from making almond milks and things like that you can get these raw elements usually where i get mine from i believe Donald hookie up there for i think it’s like fourteen dollars i could be wrong about that but a real
Real great tool useful tool for so many things in the kitchen so i’m just gonna pour my blend of almonds and water in here and basically what you do here is just tighten this up wrap it around a few times so all the meal doesn’t come
Out so i’m just going to really get the last little bit of milk out of here and we’ll go from there and there we have it a nice fresh glass of almond milk all right on to the main event here ginger bread balls haha so first we’re
Going to take one third cup of the almond meal that we we have here from our almond milk so I’m just going to take our one-third Cup measurement that looks about good now place that into a bigger bigger mixing bowl okay we’ll take a quarter cup of the ground
Flaxseed now I’m going to probably going to mix the ground flaxseed and I have see you so you can use either or depending on what you know what your your taste buds are like or what you need nutrient wise so I’m going to go a little half and a half here so it’s
About a cup of flaxseed and eight comp a cup of hemp seed there so a little mixture the way I like the rule alright so we got that now i’m also going to put one scoop of some warrior vanilla protein powder in here this is the brown
Rice protein so this is optional you don’t need to put this in your going to get a good protein content with the hemp seed but you know I’m an athlete I always like to make sure I got enough protein in my diet so and it also gives
A little bit of sweetness because of the stevia so I’m going to put that in there that’s one scoop and you can pick up your brown rice somewhere protein from raw elements they have great prices there and have also the the New Sun warrior blend which is phenomenal as
Well my personal favorite is vanilla that’s a combination of hemp p & cranberry protein with a little bit of mct MCTS from coconut so check that out one thing we didn’t actually get into when I showed you the ingredients was the date so you can use now you can use
Like a gavi nectar use coconut brown sugar I can use honey or maple syrup things like that now because I’m vegan I like to try to get my sources from natural and keep things raw so what I did was I took it’s 3 tablespoons so I took it as three
Dates medjool dates and put them in a blender with a quarter cup of water and just mix it up to make a date paste okay so that’s all I did here dates are high in B vitamins great for potassium as well as iron so I’m just going to take
I’ve already kind of measured out its three dates so I’m just going to put the dates in here as well into my mixing bowl now for the sake of you know cleaning up afterwards you don’t actually need to use the mixing bowl you can just put your ingredients into the
Vitamix blender but just for the sake of the video making it nice and pretty we have a bowl here today we have our our quarter cup of walnuts here so I’m just going to put that there we have our table spoon of ginger or sorry teaspoon
Of ginger tea spoon of ginger okay I like mine a little bit more gingery since I love gingerbread so I’m going to put just a little bit more than a teaspoon or a heaping teaspoon now we also have cinnamon so I’m going to put a teaspoon of cinnamon in here it’s
Probably more wise to do the dry ingredients first but what do you expect from a strength coach who counts to ten for a living right so there we go I’m also going to put our Chinese five-spice which is technically supposed to be pumpkin spice but that’s okay it’ll work
And again that’s just a teaspoon as well I’m actually really looking forward to tasting these with a little bit of aniseed in there so hopefully that tastes good alright so I think we have pretty much everything here everything’s in our Bowl I’m just going to put it
Into the vitamin I’m going to do is just a cat I’m gonna divide this batter up into four cookies using mighty big tablespoon here and we’re going to do is I’m going to roll them into balls now taking a dehydrator tray out here you don’t have to dehydrate them you can
Once you make your balls you can if you’re making little balls obviously you can make them bite size making bigger balls you can flatten them out to make cookies and then obviously if you want to little step further and make them into gingerbread cookies or Christmas trees
Or men whatever you want to do okay so i’m just going to actually i’m going to make just real flat cookie here so there’s one and i’ll just flattened out here with my fork so there you have a guy’s got four gingerbread cookies that are going to go pop into the dehydrator
Super healthy for you absolutely guilt-free take these with you for holiday parties serve them at holiday functions at your house seems like that they’re their selves we’re great at peace check out Nathan Jackson calm until then have a great holiday jingle bells jingle Oh King the bells
